Captain Lincoln Melmeth with lead the Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club second grade team into the Newcastle District Cricket Season Final which will be played at Lynn Oval, Stockton.
The selected team featured a number of key players with significant first grade experience including Melmeth who played in the 2014-15 first grade decider, Brodie Cox (competition leading wicket taker), Kye Zanardi (competition leading run scorer) and Laurence Kelly.
The Stockton & Northern Districts team were runaway winners of the minor premiership for the second consecutive year and field an unchanged lineup from the washed our semi final.
